Nestled on the eastern slopes of the Sierra Nevada mountain range, Mammoth Hospital is a modern Critical Access hospital offering health care to the rural community of Mammoth Lakes, a popular four-season resort town. The hospital boasts twelve outpatient clinics, as well as the Mammoth S.P.O.R.T. Center specializing in Orthopedic and Sports Medicine, Neurology, and Physical and Occupational Therapy service. In 2007 the hospital finished construction on a new wing, housing state-of-the-art facilities for Emergency, Perioperative, Perinatal, PACU, and Medical Imaging.
