Animal Assisted Therapy
Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) is offered to aid in the healing process of patients. AAT is a goal-directed intervention in which an animal is incorporated as an integral part of the treatment process to improve the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive well-being of patients. The handler and animal are certified through Delta Society – Pet Partners program. These volunteers provide visits to patients at Mammoth Hospital or in the Sierra Park Clinics.

We also organize several events over the year where volunteers are needed to assist.
