A. Douglas Will, M.D.,
M.P.H., is a Board Certified neurologist, having trained at the Neurological Institute of New York at Columbia University. Over the years, he has been involved in research related to Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, and other neurological disorders. He made formative contributions to emerging concepts of Electronic Medical Records systems and founded a biotechnology company involved in gene therapy research.
Dr. Will has been a member of the Council of Deans, American Association of University Professors of Neurology, Advisory Panel on Neurology of the California Medical Association, Medical Advisory Committee of the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation California Chapter, principal investigator for the National Parkinson Foundation, co-investigator for the National Institutes of Health and has served as a scientific reviewer for Neurology, the official journal of the American Academy of Neurology. He has authored numerous scientific papers and has presented research at many national and international scientific meetings.
Dr. Will moved to Mammoth Lakes from the Boston area to enjoy an active lifestyle and serves as a member of the Boards of the High Sierra Striders, the Eastern Sierra Nordic Ski Association, and the High Sierra Equestrian Club.
